(To the Editor). Sir, —In view of the recent decision of Mr James, S.M., farmers when placing their properties in the hands of agents for disposal should see that the words "sole agency" should not be inserted. This will save all complications and place the vendor in a free position to deal with the first agent who can record a sale. Thanking you for space, we are etc., ROSS AND GREENFIELD, Masterton.
