EPIDEMIC OF SCARLET FEVER.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 10. There is at present an epidemic of scarlet fever in, the city. The ordinary hospital accommodation for such cases is quite full. During March thirty-two cases were reported, a geat majority' of which were in the latter half of the morth. Since the beginning of the present month (ten days ago) twentysix fresh cases have been reported. The epidemic has not been located in any particular district nor school, nor can it be attributed to any. particular milk supply. It is widely distributed.
