MOTOR BY-LAWS.

By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 6. A conference' of delegates from the Waihemo, Waikouaiti, and Waitaki County Councils was held, to-day, at Palmerstou South, to consider motor by-laws to be submitted to each council for approval. The conference agreed upon a speed restriction of six miles per hour at all indicated dangerous places. Drivers of cars may be called on to stop altogether when meeting or passing drovers and vehicular or horse traffic. This will affect running between Dunedin and Christchurch considerably. The by-law will probably be confirmed by the councils.
