IMPORTANT TESTS. NO DAMPNESS AND NO HEATING. Received April 8, 8.37 a.m. BK)NDON,ApriI 7. The* results of experiments made with the steamer Orari's New Zealand wool are of a negative character. They provided no proof that dampness caused the fires on wool ships in 1906, the temperature of the bales on the Orari's voyage corresponding with that of the hold.
