BUS SERVICE FOR MASTERTON.
With commendable enterprise, Messrs Cresswel! and Wright, proprietors of Pinhey's stables, have decided to start a permanent bus service in Masterton. The need of such a service here has been felt and commented on for some time past, and Messrs Cresswell and Wright are to be congratulated upon their desire to keep abreast of the times. The service has been very carefully arranged, and the public are assured that the time-table will be strictly adhered to. As will be seen by an advertisement on page 6 of this issue, the bus will run at regular intervals between Lansdowne, Masterton, Kuripuni, and Upper Cornwall Street. The starting place will be opposite the MastertonjjgPost Office, and three trips daily will be made to the above-mentioned places and two trips night. The service will be commencedjthisjnorning, and, with the exception of Sundays and public holidays, will be A run every day.
