TAURANGA RIFLE MEETING.

TAURANGA, April 5. The most successful rifle meeting held here, extending over four days, concluded to-day. The championship resulted in Sergeant McFarland, of Opotiki, being first, with a score of 293; Lieutenant Edgecombe, Waikato, second, with 290; Trooper Kimpton, Franklin, third, with 286; Corporal Magee, Waihi, iourth, with 285; and Private Parslow, Waihi, fifth, with 280.
