DUTIES ON COLONIAL PRODUCE, Received April 4, IL3I p.m. LONDON, April 4. Mr Herbert Pike Pease, Liberal Unionist M.P. for Darlington, speaking at Darlington, declared that the Hon. H. H. Asquith, Chancellor of the Exchequer, had a great opportunity to unite all parties and to strengthen the relations with the colonies if he would cancel the duties on colonial products and food. If Germany had the same chance she would not hesitate for a moment. He hoped the Government would put aside all party considerations in dealing with the question.
