TURKISH SOLDIERS.
THROWN ON THuIR OWN RESOURCES. Received April 4, 8.17 a.m. LONDON, April 3. Turkish expired service soldiers from Yeman landed at Alexandretta in a starving and ragged condition. They surrounded the Governor's house and threatened to loot the town if they were not given relief. Local binkers distributed £10,0.00 among the soldiers, and appeased them. A similar scene was caused by 1,200 reservists landing at Beirut.
