ALFREDTON ATHLETIC SOCIETY.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual sports meeting of the Alfredton Athletic- Society was held on Monday. The gathering was a great success, but heavy rain set in and prevented the running of the last event on the programme. The secretary (Mr J. N. S. Owen) and an energetic committee did all in their power to ensure the success of the meeting. Following were the results: — Maiden Race, 150 yards.—G, Selby 1, A. J. Reade 2, T. Lozell 3.
