EGG-LAYING.
UTILITY CLUB'S COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. i CHRISTCHURCH, March 18. Last week's returns in connection with the Egg-laying Competition of the Utility Poultry Club, at Lincoln College, show that 375 eggs were laid during the week, making the total to date 51,579. The best totals for the week were: —Mrs K. Bilby's Silver Wyandottes 27, A. J. McEntee's Silver Wyandottes 19, M. Blanch's Silver Wyandottes 19. The highest aggregate totals to ■date are:—M. Blanch 1,053, J. Ashton,'s Silver Wyandottes 852, W. Aldridge's White Leghorns 807, F. O'Brien's Silver Wyandottes 805.
