Received March IS, 10.22 p.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, March 18. A public meeting at Melmouth, Zululand, demanded the erection of a gaol and laager. The natives are unrestful, and their conduct is described as worse than before the late rebellion. It is stated that one chief has only to raise a finger to cause a general rising.
