TAYLOR-CARRINGTON COMPANY.
The Taylor-Can ington Company; who have' just concluded a five-weeks' season at the Alhambra Theatre. Dunedin, and who are en route for Auckland, will sta&e the sensational and spectacular drain a "Disowned, or the Anarchists of London," in the Masterton Town liall, to-night. The drama is said to one of their best productions. A contemporary says that the plot is powerful, the language natural, and interesting 1 , and the action. vigorous, whilst it gives great opportunities for scenic display and sensational effects. One scene in particular is very realistic. viz., the explosion scene with its glare of gunpowder, showers 'of sparks and the deafening roar of the explosion, followed by a fire scene, showing .the burning rafters and falling material. Mr Taylor will appear in a favourite role, an amusing Irishman, named Darby Dwyer, whilst Miss Carrington sustains a difficult emotional character. Scuts for the performance this evening may be booked at Miss A. E. Rive's.
