ATTEMPTED BURGLARY.

Two attempts at burglary from private houses are reported to have been made on Thursday night, it is supposed by one of the undesirable element attracted here by the races. Fortunately , however, in both instances the burglar's entrance aroused the occupants of the house's, and the culprit was discovered > making ' a hurried exit through an open window.
