TRUST LANDS TRUST.
The monthly meeting of the Mas"Serton Trust Lands Trustees was held last evening. There were present — Messrs T. B. Mitchell (chairman), T. Wagg, and J. Hessey. The Treasurer reported a dr. balance of £l4 4s lid. Accounts amounting to '.'220 13s were passed for payment. The Masterton School Committee wrote thanking the Trustees for subsidising grants. A letter was also received from the Fire Brigade, thanking the Trustees for their grant. 'With regard to the application of the Mount Holdsworth Track Committee for a grant in aid of clearing the track, the Trustees decided that the y could not legally assist, as the matter was beyond their jurisdiction. B. Michell was appointed chairman for the remainder of the year.
