WANGANUI SUPREME COURT.
.» By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, March 11. The Supreme Court opened, this morning, before Justice Chapman. William Burns was sentenced to one year's imprisonment for assault; and Ernest Taylor to a year's imprisonment for false pretences. Andrew Turnbull was found guilty of indecent assault on an 8-year-o'd child at Waioru. Sentence was deferred till the morning.
