MASTERTON LICENSING COMMITTEE.
QUARTERLY MEETING,
The quarterly meeting of the Masterton Licensing Committee was held yesterday morning. Mr W. P. James, S.M., presided, and there were also present—Messrs E. McEwen, F. C. Tumor, and F. J. Bright. The police report on the Te Nui Hotel state:! that the fence surrounding the building was in a dilapidated state- The Committee gave the licensee until the next meeting to attend to the matter.
With reagrd to the Marine Hotel, Whakataki, the police reported ; that the .stables were in a dilapidated condition. The Committee decided to allow the licensee until the next meeting to remedy the matters complained of by the'police. Temporary tranfers of licenses were granted as follow:—Railway Hotel, Eketahuna, Mr Alfred Carter to Mr John A. Collins; Alfredton Hotel, Mr H. Johnston to Mr James Donald. .
