KINGSTON EARTHQUAKE.
Received February 28, 8.27 a.m. LONDON, February 27.
The Government has refused to grant any help to Jamaica in connection with the recent earthquake at Kingston beyond the million loan guaranteed by the Island. (The Governor, Sir J. A. Swettenham, had asked for a grant of £150,000 in addition to the million loan.)
