GLADSTONE.

(From Our Own Correspondent).

Tuesday. A contract has been let for the finishing of the metalling of the lower portion of the MangahuiaLongbush road. Mr H. Blundell will take possession of Mr David Foreman's farm on March Ist. I hear that a social is to be tendered to Mr Foreman and family before they leave Longbush. The Longbush School picnic will be held on March Ist, and there is every prospect of a very pleasant day's outing.
