The murder of M. Hertzenstem, a prominent member of the Duma, which occurred at Ternovka, some time ago, has been definitely traced to the council of the Union of Russian People, which included people of rank.
(The Union of Russian People is an organisation alleged to have been promoted by the Court party to play the revolutionary terrorists at their own game. The union has been specially active at Odessa, where the authorities the other day were forced to even hint at its compulsory dissolution) .
ROBBING A TRAM-CAR CONDUCTOR. AN ENGLISHMAN HANGED. Received Last Night, 11.41 o'clock. ST. PETERSBURG, February 26. An Englishman, named Tingle, a locksmith by trade, has been courtmartialled at Warsaw and hanged in the citadel for robbing the conductor of a tram-car.
