SHIPPING DISASTERS.
STEAMER FOUNDERS IN A GALE. SAILING VESSEL WRECKED. Received Yesterday, 4.50 p.m. LONDON, February 23. During the prevailing gales in the North Sea a large unknown steamer was seen to founder. A Norwegian sailing vessel, whose name is unknown, was wrecked at West Jutland. Eighteen of the crew, who took refuge in the rigging, were washed-off and drowned.
