WAIRARAPAIRACING CLUB
AUTUMN MEETING,
The Autumn Meeting of the Wairarapa Racing Club will be held at Tauherenikau on Saturday and Monday, March 30th and April Ist. The programme, which appears elsewhere, shows that the stewards have been liberal in the apportionment of the stakes, a fact which owners are sure to appreciate by a large nomination list. The Easter Handicap,2oo sovs, is the principal event of the meeting, the next in importance being the Autumn Handicap, 150 ..sovs. The Wardell and Rototawai Handicaps are each awarded 115 sovs, and the Stewards' Handicap, ,100 sovs. The same liberal treat- " ment has been meted out to the hack division, for which the stakes range from 60 sovs to 80 sovs. Nominations for all events will close with the Secretary, Mr E.
