LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NELSON, February 14. At a meeting of the Nelson Land Board, to-day, it was resolved to throw open fifty thousand acres of land for settlement mostly in the vicinity of the town of Murchison, Central Buller, with exemption from rents and local rates for four years. It is Expected that the land will be ready for selection in about three months.
