INVERCARGILL WOOL SALES.
By Telegraph —Press Association. INVERCARGILL, February 12. The third and last wool sale to-day did not excite much interest. The total of 1,614 bales were all dealt with in an hour, most of the wool being that passed in at the January sale. Competition, however, was keen, and in many cases advanced prices were realised. Fine medium quality brought lid to llfd strong lOd to lid, inferior B£d to 9Jd, halfbred was poor to medium and prices hovered between lOd and lOgd, one lot llfd. The highest bid of the day was 12Jd for eight bales of half-bred ewe.
