GLADSTONE.

(From Our Own Correspondent). Wednesday. Mr D. Foreman, of Ngahue, Longbush, has disposed of his farm to Mr Blundell, of Wellington, who will enter into possession on March Ist. As Mr W. Whiteman and party were leaving here last Sunday for the Admiral Mill, a rather unusual accident happened to them. They had not proceeded far fsfen' the blacksmith shop when one of the wheels of the vehicle they were driving suddenly came off, precipitating them on to the hard road. As the animal they were driving was very quiet they escaped injury. Dipping operations have commenced earlier than usual, but the season being so dry, people are making use of the water while it is available.
