GREYTOWN S.M. COURT.
(From a Correspondent.) At the Grey town S.M. Court, yesterday, before Mr> W. P. James, 5.M.,, Alexander Falls, a former resident of Masterton, was charged with assaulting Mrs Gordon and causing a broken rib and other bodily injuries. Mr Tate appeared for the complainant, and Mr C. A. Pownall for the defendant. The case was •dismissed, each party to pay its own costs. John O'Keefe sued Francis H. Perry for assault. Mr Pownall appeared for the complainant, and Mr Gawith for the defendant. No witnesses were called. Evidence was given by each of the parties concerned. The S.M. said it was the word of one party against the other, and he did not feel called upon,,to decide as to the credibility of eilher. The case was dismissed, each party to pay its own costs.
