GOLDMINERS' DISPUTE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 4. The hearing of the goldminers' dispute was continued at the sitting of the Arbitration Court at Alexandra. After evidence had been given on behalf of both workers and employers, the President Mr (Justice Sim,) suggested a conference between representatives of the employers and employees. This- took place in the evening, and an amicable settlement was arrived at, the terms of which will be reported to the Court at Cromwell.
