FATAL ACCIDENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NELSON, January 31. A fatal accident occurred at the Nelson Brick, Pottery and Tile Company's works this afternoon. Alexander Lonsdale Baldero was at the brake steadying the descent of the clay-laden trucks when he appears to have got entangled and to have been violently dashed round. The accident was not seen, but his fellow workmen hearing a crash stopped the machinery and found the deceased, with his neck broken and the upper portion of his body much injured. The deceased has left a widow and two children.
