NEW SOUTH WALES v. VICTORIA. By Telegraph—Press Association. SYDNEY, January 21. In the cricket match New South Wales versus Victoria the local team have lost five wickets for 334. The first three wickets fell for 78. Duff made 38, Noble 68, Diamond, not out, 148, Macartney, not out, 48. As the Eketahuna Club is unable to send a team to play Masterton B, to-day, a match will be played between the Masterton A and B teams. The Y.M.C.A. will be represented against Featherston, at Carterton, to-day, by the following team: — Evans, R. E. Williams, C. Matthews, Martin, Beere, Lett, Buttle, McDonald, Daniell (2), and Ratina. The team will leave the Post Office at 1.45 o'clock. Each player will be required to find his own conveyance to and from Carterton.
