ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT.
Received January 18, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, January 17. The Divisional Court discharged the magistrate's order for the extradition of A. P. Percival, formerly treasurer of the Trinity College, Melbourne, on a charge of embezzling the College funds. The ground of refusing the extradition was that the evidence was insufficient to show that his offence was punishable in Victoria with a year's imprisonment.
