of £3,159 was put through -the totalisator, making £6,294 for the meeting, an increase of £250 on last year. The racing was good in the majority of events. The big dividend of £4B 7s was returned in the Mile Trot on Lady Vancleve. Results: — Grandstand Handicap, 6 , furlongs. —Secret 1, Jewel Case 2, Miss Casket 3. Coo-ee and Postcard were scratched. Time, lmin 18 2-ssec. Dividend, £2 Bs. Hokonui Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs.—Magical 1, Royal Shell 2, Favour 3. Time, lmin 18 2-ssec. Dividends, £2 2s and £1 3s. RACING CLUB HANDICAP, 1 mile and a distance. Idassa, 7st 111b ... 1 Notus, Bst 61b ••? 2 Man jess, 9st 21b ... 3 Also sarted—ScrapirOii Jack, Sirius.
