WEATHER IN FRANCE.
SNOWDRIFTS FIFTY FEET DEEP. Received January 16, 8.3 a.m. PARIS, January 15. Snowdrifts fifty feet deep lie on the foothills of the Cevennes range, in the south-east of France. Rain in some places froze 18 inches deep. The-traes are like blocks of ice.
