MR RAMSAY MACDONALD.
Received January 14, 3.29 p.m. LONDON, January 14. Mr Ramsay Mac Donald, interviewed by the Daily Chronicle, declared that in Australia there was much more real democracy than in the United States. He believed that the Labour parties in the Motherland and jthe colonies would be able to come to a closer understanding which would have a most revolutionary effect on the Imperial policy in democratising the whole idea of the Empire, and making the Empire stand for the peace of the world.
