BRITISH POLITICS.
Received January 14, 10.11 p.m. LONDON, January 14. Mr Keir Hardie, speaking at Darval, severely criticised Messrs Haldane and Asquith's rectorial addresses on the ground that they were insufficiently sympathetic with Labour ideals. Mr Hardie declared that Socialism was sure to come unless we are prepared to see our civilisation go the way of the civilisations of the past.
