GENERAL PAVLOFF'S ASSASSIN HANGED. Received January 13, 5.10 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Jan. 12. General Pavloff's assassin has been hanged.
DETERMINED POLITICAL PRISONERS. Received January 13, 5.10 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG Jan., 12. Two hundred and thirty political prisoners at Odessa resolved to starve to death unless certain privileges were conceded. When three had been removed to the hospital in a state Of exhaustion the authorities yielded. ST. PETERSBURG, Jan. 11. Several of the terrorists who were implicated in Colonel Andrieff's assassination at Lodz, in Russian Poland, wounded two of his escort, i A patrol which was marching through the street fired an indiscriminate volley, killing two spectators and wounding six, besides killing a woman by fright.
