EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as followsAt Eketahuna yesterday, we had a full yarding of sheep and several pens of cattle. In sympathy with the larger centres the continued spell of dry weather affected prices, with the result we have to report a dragging, lifeless sale, but a fair amount of busines was done at auction, and" the balance of the sheep changed hands afterwards with the exception of one pen of ewes. We were unable to quit the cattle entry, there being absolutely no demand. We quote:—Sheep: Two-tooth wethers 13s 4d to 14s 6d, aged ewes 10s to 10s 3d, shorn lambs 7s 3d to 7s 6d, woolly lambs 8s 4d, , cull ewes 5s 6d, cull lambs 3s 9d. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.,. report: —At Palmerston North, on Thursday, we had a fair entry of stock. All the sheep entered changed hands at satisfactory prices. Cattle were not in great demand, owing to the continued dry weather, but the greater portion were disposed of.
