CASTLEPOINT, Monday. The squadron arrived safely at Castlepoint, after being on the road about eleven hours. The mode of travelling was somewhat different from the usual, the members of the troop being allbwed to take their own time, and' meeting at given points. To-day (Monday) the corps was exercised in foot drill by Ser-geant-Major Burr, and some very useful work was put in in the way of extended movements. To-morrow (Tuesday) the work will consist of class-firing and mounted parade. The parades are held on the beach, which forms a splendid training ground. The military sports, which are to be held on Thursday, promise to be very successful, as the members of the squadron and also the people in the neighbourhood are taking a keen interest in the different events, and there will probably be some close contests, especially in the two flat races. A meeting of the members of the corps will be held in the camp tomorrow (Wednesday) evening, at 8 o'clock, for the election of an officer.
