JAPAN'S EXPORTS AND IMPORTS.
Received January 8, ?KSQ a>m, LONDON, January 7. Japan's foreign trade in 1906 'amounted to eighty-four million pounds. The exports exceeded the imports. In the'previous year the total trade amounted to 809/100,000 yen (about £81,000,000). The imports, however, were far in excess of the exports, amounting to 488,200,iQ00 yen, as against 321,500,000 yen of imports.
