THE LATE BARONESS BURDETTCOUTTS.

LONDON, January 4. Fourteen thousand persons of all classes have visited the late Baroness Burdett-Coutts' residence in Stratton Street, Piccadilly, where her remains are lying in state. Received January 6, 4.40 p.m. LONDON, January 5. Twelve thousand more people viewed the body of Baroness BurdettCoutts at Stratton Street. Received January 7, 1.5 a.m. LONDON, January 6. At the funeral of Baroness Bourdett-Coutts spectators thronged the route from her late residence in Stratton Street to the Abbey. She was buried at the foot of Lord Shaftesbury's memorial. Prince Francis of Teck, the Dukes of Wellington and Argyll, Lord Peel, and Mr Herbert Gladstone, were among the pall-bearers. The King and Queen and Prince of Wales were represented. Many political leaders were present.
