FEDERATED IRONMOULDERS' CONFERENCE.

By Telegraph —Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 28. The federated ironmoulders are now holding a conference in Wellington. They have decided that, in view of the success of the State ironmoulding shops at Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, to urge the Government to establish similar works- at Auckland, Wanganui, and Invercargill. The Government will also be asked to raise the duty on imported iron .and brass castings.
