ST. PETERSBURG, Deo. 94. A violent eaithqnuke, lasting a minute and a-half, has beea experienced at Kupal, in Russian Turkestan. VIENNA, Deoeraber 24. The Observatory ;at Laibaob, in Austria, recorded an earthquake on Saturday, the seat of whiob was oaloulated to be 4,375 miles distant, the tremor continuing in a southeasterly direction. Another shook was recorded on Sunday, distant 6,250 miles. Simliar records were obtained in Italy, and at the Isle of Wigbt.
