MARRIAGE AT THE PISTOL'S POINT.
WEALTHY LANDOWNER SHOT. Received December 20, 8.23 a.m. NEW YORK, December 19. Two brothers named Strother warned Bywaters, a wealthy Virginia landowner, that they intended to kill him for wronging their sister. They fetched a clergyman and compelled Bywaters, under the muzzles of their pistols, to marry their sister, who was lying sick in bed. After, the ceremony Bywaters escaped through a window, but the Strothers shot him dead.
