NATIONAL MUTUAL LIFE ASSOCIATION.

The following cable has been received by Mr Orton Stevens, manager of the New Zealand branch of the National Mutual Life Association: —"The thirty-seventh annual meeting of the Association was held today. New business for the year amounted to £2,850,789, an increase of £235,000 over last year. The annual income now amounts to £823,788; interest carried was 4sd per cent. The total funds now stand at £4,478,000, being an increase on last year of £283,000."
