PUBLIC SCHOOLS SHIELD COMPETITION.

The results of the annual Shield Rifle Shooting Competition by the Public School Cadets show that the North Island competition was won by the Terrace School (Wellington) with 730 point?. Paniatua, Onehunga and Levin tied fjr second place with 71.9. The South Island competition was won by the Port Chalmers School with a score of 747, with Lawrence, Waiirate and Oamaru runners up. A lad at Pabiat.ua, with 83 out of 84, made the highest Jndividual score.
