A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

HASTINGS, December 14
A serious accident occurred on the racecourse this morning. A jockey named Arthur iSricksc'n, from Auckland, was kicked by theracehoraePink'un on the back, of the head, suffering a fracture of tne skull. An operation was performed in the afternoon, but there is little hope of the jockey recovering.
