PAHIA'IUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalxety aftd Co., Ltd., held their fortnigtly sale at thoPahiatua yard* on Tuesday, when there was a fair entry of, cattle, but only one line of sheep came forward. The inquiry for young cattle was good, and all lines were sold. Dairy stoatt was not in demand. Shorn 2-tooth ewes and wethers leached lis, 18-months and 2year steers 57s 6d, yearling steers and heifers 38s, year ling beifeih 30s, yeailing and 18months Bteers 455, weaners 265, store cows from 355, light beef oowa 70s.
JMASTERTON STOCK SALE EbiPORI. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., raport aa follows on their Maatertou stock sale held yesterday:—l'ho entry of sheep consisted chiefly of two-tooths wethora and «wea, which met with good competition. A full yarding of cattle of! all descriptions was offered, but the'demand was hardly equal to late values, and a good *pal of the business bad to be 'done privately. We quote: 1 3beep--Fat wethers up to 13s 2d, tet •ewes 13s 9d, to 15s 6d, for prime heavy weights, 2 tooth wethers V3s 3d to. 13b 9d, 2 and 4 tooth wethers 16s Bd. Cattle—Beef bullocks £6 15s to £7 15s, store bullocks £5 8s 6d to £5 lis, 3- year steers £4 17s to £5 2s 6d, 2 year steers £3 3a to £3 18s, yearling steers 32s fa'd to £2 10s, mixed sexes yearlings Igood) £2 10s, forward oows £4 to £4 16s, store oows 32s to £2, empty 2 year heifers £2 to £2 15s, cows and calves (poor) 37s 6d to £2.
