LONDON WOOL MARKET.

Received December 5, 10.13 a.m. LONDON, December 5. At the wool sales there is good competition and prices generally are well maintained. Some irregularity is noticeable in the less attractive classes. MARTIN BOROUGH STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co,. Ltd. held their monthly sale at ihe Martinborough yard*, on Tuesday, when about 500 Load of catile were yarded, bunjonly three lines of sheep oamo furward. There was a good attendance of buyero. Competition for all young oattle was spirited, but the demand for gro.vn cattle was not so keen as at previous sales. All sheep, and with two exceptions all oattle, found purchasers. Aged shorn owes with 80 par cent, lambs sjld at 17s, others 13s; fat and forward shorn eweß, las; 4-year bullocks, £5 10s; fat cows, £4 ]9i 6d to £5 Is; ( springing heifers, £3 28 fid; aged oowh and a percentage of calves, £2 15s; 2-year steers, mixed colours, £3; 18-uiouths steers, £2 Is to £2 16s, 18 months heifors, £1 15a to £1 163 6d; sheep dog £3.
