WORKHOUSE SCANDALS.
CONSPIRING TO DEFRAUD. SEVERAL ARRESTS MADE. ■ Received November a.m. LONDON, November 27. The master and two ex offlours of tbe West Ham worknouse, and four more guardians, have been arrested on a charge of oonspiring to defraud the West Ham Union in connejtion with a coal contract. TWO OF THE POPLAR GUARDIANS ACQUITTED. Received November 28, 10.4 p.m. LONDON, November 28. Two of the Poplar Guardians were acquitted.
