Y.M.C.A.
At a meeting held in tbe Y. M.G. A. Rooms, last evening, those members of the Ambulance Classes who recently passed their examinations, decided to form a Musterton Y.M.C.A. Ambulanoe Corps, under the auspices of St. John's. The following offiaers were eleoted for the ensuing year:—President, Mr Mannaell ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. H. Beetham, J. C. Payton, A- C. Major, P. L. Hollings, W. B. Ohennella. C. E. Daniell, W. H.' ! Jaokson, H. T. Wood, gJas/ Elliott, W. H. Masking, and J. Carpenter; Hon, Surgeon*, Drs, Cowie and Cook; Superintendent, Mr O. Feilding; Sub Superintended and Chairman, Mr Alex. Donad; Secretary;, Mr J. A. McLean. It was decided to oyen subtoription lists to proaure the apparatus [ necessary to carry on the work, i and that all who have nasaed the examination qualifying them to become members bo invited to join the ooi ps. It was stated at the meeting that it was expected that tbe putlio would give their full support towards such a worthy object, and that the corps would be fully equipped to satisfy the requirements of ithe town and district. To place the corps on a proper footing the sum -of £2O would be required to provide stretchers and an up-to-date ambulance carriage with cmplete outfit.
