EGG-LAYING.
UTILITY CLUB'S COMPETITION

OHRISTOHURCH, Nov. 26. During the week ended November 23rd, 1,728 eggs were laid by the hens entered in the Utility Poultry Club's second Egg-laying Cmpetition at Lincoln College, bulging the total to date to 32,616 eggs. The best totals for the week were:— R. Benson, White Leghorns, 32. A. L. Webster, Silver Wyaudottes, 32. G. Reynolds,' Silver Wyaudottes, 31. The highest totals to date are:— M. Blanch, 644. J. Asbton, Silver Wyandotte; 589, F. O'Brien, Silver Wyaodottes. 561. Mrs Gordon, Brown Leghorns, 522.
