MASTERTON v. PAHIATUA
A match was played on Saturday between tne Masterton and Pahiatua Lanu Tenuis Clubs, on the Pahiatua Club's grounds. Masterton gained an easy victory, winning by nine matches to one match. During the afternoon the lady members and frieuds of the Pahiatua Club pro vided afternoon tea. The results of the various games were as follow: Siugles—U. C. Cox, Mastertou, beat J. E. MoShane, 6—2 6-1; D. Oaselberg, Mastertou beat W. J. Collins, Pahiatua, 6—o, 6—2; H. W. Rishworth, Masterton, beat 1-1. Smith, Pahiatua, 6—3, 6—3; N. Eagar, Masterton, boat H.
